Whether or not you agree that the recent Cholera index case was caused by unregistered tigernut milk, can we talk about how food processors unhygienically handle juices like zobo, tigernut and the likes?

Kudos to those who do the needful like using the right machines and materials.
Please, if you are one of those who still use their hands to squeeze tigernut and other fruit , this needs to STOP. You’re also on this table if you’re still using that BLUE grinding machine to grind food for human consumption. (I remember bringing this up at a NAFDAC stakeholders meeting and was told that it is the responsibility of the Standards Organization of Nigeria, SON).

You’re also on this table if you’re still using plastic for your food processing. Especially in cases where these plastic can leach unto your product.

Tigernut is one of the hardest fruits to process and it is also highly perishable. High perishability applies to all fruit juices. If you need the wisdom, buy it.

Even when no one is looking, it is better to err on the side of caution. Your business is one of great responsibility.

Have a great week ahead, friends!

Of course we currently have in stock, two machines that can reduce human contact or your juice products. Would you like to know what they are?
