We all know that wear and tear of some of your equipment and machinery can cause you to require repairs.
Here are some tips to elongate the life of your equipment:
Use a power surge protector or stabiliser. This is because the electrical system in this part of the world can be tricky. The other day, we heard of a top supermarket which burnt down just because power was restored and something sparked.
Avoid using your heavy equipment with extension boxes as most extensions can only offer a maximum of 3000w (you would see this on the body of the extension).
For most machines, before you send to a repairer, if the issue is electrical, check first if it is the fuse. The fuse can be found on the adaptor that goes into your wall socket. (A domestic electrician can help with changing the fuse).
