Did you know that dehydration does not improve the quality of your original raw material? DEHYDRATION IS FOR EXTENDING SHELF LIFE OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE.
At Dehydrator Hub, we’re committed to helping you get the highest quality dried and packaged food products. Note that the condition of your raw materials directly affects the outcome.
To ensure efficiency, food safety, and top-notch quality, we DO NOT accept the following at any of our processing facilities:
❌ Rotting or Spoiled Produce – Decayed, moldy, or fermented food affects the quality of the final product. Always send in fresh produce.
❌ Insect-Infested Goods – Weevils, worms, and other pests reduce food quality and make processing unsafe. Check your grains and produce before sending them in.
❌ Overripe Fruits & Vegetables – While ripe is great, overripe foods contain too much moisture, making them harder to dry properly. Choose firm, fresh produce for the best results.
❌ Water-Damaged or Damp Goods – Excess moisture encourages mold growth and slows drying. Ensure your grains and tubers are dry before delivery.
❌ Fermented or Sprouting Grains & Tubers – Once sprouting begins, food quality declines. Send in fresh, properly stored products. Unless it is fermented foods like Fufu, etc.
How to Ensure Your Goods Are Accepted?
✅ Harvest at the right time.
✅ Sort, clean, and remove bad produce before delivery.
✅ Store grains and tubers in a dry, well-ventilated area.
✅ Use proper packaging to keep your produce fresh.
By following these steps, you’ll get the best value for your produce and avoid delays in processing. Let’s work together to reduce waste and create high-quality, nutritious food!
